Ford EcoBoost V6 Crank Sprocket

Twin turbos and sticky tires are exactly what the factory powdered-metal crank sprocket was never built for. Ford’s 3.5L EcoBoost sends every pound of boost, chain harmonics and launch shock through that one sintered gear on the nose of the crank – and in a high-boost, high-traction build it becomes the fuse in the timing drive. When it lets go, the chain skips and the whole valvetrain pays for it. This billet crank sprocket removes that weak link on both generations of the EcoBoost V6 – from the original 2011 F-150 EcoBoost to the current high-output Raptor.

CNC-machined in-house from 4340 billet steel in Royse City, TX, it eliminates the fatigue and shock-loading limitations of the powdered-metal design – added torsional strength, improved timing-drive durability and protection against catastrophic timing failure in motorsports use, backed by a transferable lifetime warranty. Two versions cover the family: select Gen 1 for the 2011-2017 3.5L/3.7L Cyclone engines (billet replacement for Ford AT4Z-6306-A) or Gen 2 for the redesigned 2017+ 3.5L EcoBoost (billet replacement for Ford HL3Z-6306-A). 2017 is the split year: F-150 EcoBoost trucks moved to Gen 2 that year, while the rest of the 3.5L/3.7L family ran Gen 1 through 2017. Neither version fits the 2.7L EcoBoost.
